Books: Killing Pablo: The Hunt for the World’s Greatest Outlaw by Mark Bowden
this book is riveting and fascinating … and … in many ways … depressing.
it goes over the life, times, and hunt of Pablo Escobar, the kingpin of the Medillin Cartel and, at the time, the most notorious criminal in the world.
i listened to this book on tape.
the book brings out all the personalities of the Columbians in government, Pablo and his cohorts, and the Americans active in the pursuit of Pablo. the book comments on much of the drug trade (like the movie Traffic) with an honest report from the author of Black Hawk Down.
Summation: i highly suggest reading this book.
