Happiness Is the Best Medicine

in keeping with the happiness theme, Wired Magazine has a great article:

Happiness Is the Best Medicine

It’s all good news for comedians. Laughter is good for you — it’s practically official. Last month researchers at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore showed that laughter is linked to the healthy function of blood vessels.

    Auren-
Thank you for your insights and thoughts regarding happiness. I always enjoy reading them, for it is clear that you write from your heart of hearts.
Hey, if you notice someone who is unhappy, you can always recommend The Happiness Club! http://www.happinessclub.com
This is a place where unhappy and happy people come once a month to learn more about their own happiness. Happiness actually isn’t taught anywhere until lately with the new science of happiness. This club has changed many lives to date and will influence many more in the future….
You are right to take such a strong stance on happiness… happiness allows us to access parts of ourselves that we can not access if we are unhappy… if someone’s only contribution to changing the world is being happy, that is a step in the right direction for unhappiness does not help anyone…
In closing, I am happy you write about happiness because it is the number one important thing in our lives as humans.

You are right…We have no reason not to be happy. When I meet around people who can be happy with almost nothing, I do wonder why our class complain so much….complain and unhappy about traffic, work, etc. which are a lame excuses. Life is short remember the downs and enjoy the ups…But be happy with what ever you do! We are very fortunate to be in a position to pick and do what makes us happy….Nice article and thanks for publishing it.
